Every year, 8 million plastics are dumped into the sea, the equivalent of a garbage truck per minute. A plastic bottle takes an average of 700 years to degrade. We cannot allow that, the time has come to act.
Aware of the importance of taking actions and gestures to reduce environmental impact and reduce tons of plastic in the oceans, Panter® has launched the Vita ECO S3 ESD model from the new ECO line, the sustainable alternative in safety footwear.
This new range of safety footwear is made with recycled and recyclable materials. The cut, linings and threads are made with fabric from recycled PET plastic bottles, thus giving another life to PET plastic bottles, reducing the large amounts of plastic that we find in seas and oceans. The toe is made of recycled aluminum and resistant to 200J.
The insole of these models of safety footwear is ecological, made of recycled ESD antistatic polyurethane foam, with active carbon with a high power of absorption as well as desorption and breathable. Developed with PET fabric from the recycling of plastic bottles.
Its Polyurethane sole is recyclable and once its useful life is over it can be used in the manufacture of pavements and road asphalt, as well as contributing to the circular economic model that promotes the efficient use of resources and energy.
For all this, this range complies with the 4 "Rs" of recycling: Reduce, reuse, recycle and recover.
Reduce plastic waste from seas and oceans.
The sole can be reused, giving it a second life, by being used in the manufacture of pavements and asphalting roads.
All its components can be recycled.
The fabric for the manufacture of Vita Eco footwear is obtained from the recycling of PET plastic bottles, thus recovering the raw material.
