THE FEET AND OUR HEALTH
The feet are a reflection of the state of our body and most of the time we do not give them the care they really deserve. They are usually the most neglected part of our body.
Each foot consists of 26 bones, 33 joints, 107 ligaments and 19 muscles, which together with nerves and blood vessels make up one of the most complex and important parts of our body.
When calluses, bunions, hardness, foot or ankle pain begin to appear, different ailments may also appear in our body or vice versa, in the event that they appear as a reflection that there is something that is not working well in our body. Many disorders such as diabetes, arthritis or heart disease can be directly reflected in our feet.

TIPS FOR FOOT CARE
When buying shoes, it is preferable to do it in the afternoon since feet tend to swell late in the day and thus we make sure that they are not too small for us. Remember to choose the right footwear for your feet and the activity you are going to do, preferably leather footwear, it is more natural, breathable and water-repellent than other materials. Wash and moisturize your feet every day, cut your nails straight, wear cotton socks that are not too tight, and don't forget to do some weekly exercise that involves your feet.

Foot massage instructions:
Apply some cream or oil on your hands. Rub the product well between them before using it on the feet.
Start massaging one of the feet, always with both hands. Be subtle. Start by stroking the top of the foot. Go from the toes to the ankle. Then change and go down to caress the sole of the foot. Little by little, your caresses should increase the pressure, going from less to more intensity.
Make movements in a circle, placing the thumbs of your hands on the sole of the foot and the four fingers on the instep. Go from the metatarsal heads at the base of the toes toward the heel. Ideally, the greatest pressure should be focused on the hardest areas, especially on the heel.
Hold the foot with one hand and with the other make him turn the foot from left to right. Do it repeatedly in both directions. It is advisable to perform the movement about 4 or 5 times in each direction.
Change the hand foot and return to massage it again with the other.
Massage the foot with your fingertips as if you were trying to knead them. Start with the big toe of your foot until you reach the little finger. Massage from the root of each finger to the end applying light pressure. It is important that you use your fingertips and that you do it gently.
When you're done stroking all your toes, move on to the rest of the foot, focusing a bit on the top and bottom of the foot.
With the help of a towel, remove any traces of cream or oil that you have used.
Repeat the process with the other foot.
Finally, get up very slowly.
