ROCÍO PAJARES SALINAS, CEO OF PANTER®, RECOGNISED WITH THE AEPA - CAJA RURAL CENTRAL AWARD ‘WOMEN WHO CHANGE THE WORLD’
Our CEO, Rocío Pajares, has been awarded the prestigious AEPA – Caja Rural Central ‘WOMEN WHO CHANGE THE WORLD’ Award at the 8th AEPA Awards Gala 2025. This award, granted by the Association of Businesswomen, Professionals and Executives of the Province of Alicante (AEPA) in collaboration with Caja Rural Central, recognises women and organisations that have made an exemplary contribution to business and social growth.
Recognition of Excellence with Social Impact
The jury highlighted Rocío Pajares' track record at the helm of PANTER®, emphasising her ‘great contribution to society by designing and manufacturing footwear that sets the global standard in health, well-being and quality of life with the lowest environmental impact’.
This award joins other recent important recognitions for the Group, such as the Alicante Chamber of Commerce Award for Best Industry, the Economía 3 Award for Business Leadership, the La Razón Award for Business Excellence and the REM Award for Innovation, consolidating PANTER® as a benchmark in quality, innovation and social responsibility.

During the gala, held on 3 October, Rocío Pajares expressed her excitement at receiving the award:
‘Receiving the Caja Rural Central “WOMEN WHO CHANGE THE WORLD” Award fills me with pride and joy. As human beings, we have a responsibility to grow our environment and generate prosperity in our territory, and I feel satisfied and excited that I have been able to do just a little bit of that.’
For her part, AEPA President Marcela Fernández stressed the importance of highlighting female talent: ‘We need women who don't ask for permission, but who take up space and make an impact.’
